Native

Native. Ecotypic. Indigenous. or Invasive. Sustainable. Pollinator. Xeriscape. These are the buzzwords associated more and more with a sustainable (or unsustainable!) garden. We are well versed in the use and design value of plants native to the Northeast region. Plants that offer interest all year-round, and a habitat for the pollinator life it sustains—and vice versa. A planting with at least half native specimens (ideally 70%) will promote healthy micro ecosystems, longevity is enhanced, the potential for water use is decreased, erosion control is improved—all while looking wild or formal; the possibilities are endless.
